Grace helps us understand that we don't work hard to gain God's love, but that He already loves us more than we can imagine. We no longer serve to receive God's love, instead, we serve because He has already given us His love, grace, and a home in heaven.

The Apostle Paul constantly corrected the early church, helping them move from a law-based way of serving God to a grace-filled way of serving Him. The law made serving God nearly impossible, but grace allows us to serve him fully and freely.
