In 2009 CrossPointe Church had its first service at 2600 E Firetower Road, our now permanent location. From 2009 to 2021 we were a portable church enjoying only a few short stints of not having to set up and tear down for our weekend gatherings.

Making more than a dozen different moves during this time and investing hundreds of hours in assembling our worship space has made our default attitude one of service. Investing in the mission of CrossPointe Church is truly investing in a larger-than-life mission of pointing people to the life-changing love of Jesus.

There is no better way of getting to know the folks of CrossPointe than volunteering.

Volunteer FAQ

How do I volunteer?

Making our guest and regular attenders feel welcome and like family is our goal. It takes a team of folks holding doors, directing traffic and answering questions to make a first time guest feel like family. If hospitality comes easy for you, this could be a great place for you to volunteer.

How do I volunteer with kids?

To ensure that our kids have a safe environment, it has to be properly staffed with volunteers that love seeing our kids have fun and grow to learn who Jesus is. Our classes are structured to have Lead Teachers and Assistant Teachers. 

How do I volunteer with music?

It requires a lot of people to produce our Sunday morning worship experience. Our production team is made up of 100% volunteers. Our volunteers are trained to run all audio, video media, live stream and lighting. If you enjoy working behind the scenes and like to create, this could be a great fit for you.

How do I volunteer with students?

Our students meet on Sunday evenings at 4pm. cCru is the youth ministry of CrossPointe Church and is led by Pastor Chase Bright and his wife Rachel. They enjoy games, off campus activities and Bible study. So, no matter how old you are, if your young at heart and love don't mind playing ping pong, you may enjoy volunteering in our student ministry.
