One of the most important things you will ever learn is to hear from God and truly listen to Him. Since we live in such a loud world, this isn’t an easy task. We deal with external volume plus our own internal volume.
To be able to grow, your heart needs to be in the right place to be able to hear from God and to able to apply what He is teaching you. If your heart is too hard, God’s Word will not be able to take root and grow.
