Shedding Shame

The book of Psalms is viewed as one of the most beautiful books in the Bible. It is filled with songs and poetry centered around the goodness and grace of God. However, it is so much more than just songs and poetry. It's filled with heartache, depression, ups, and downs. Psalms also shows us that we can be vulnerable with an almighty God as we struggle through difficult times in life. Psalms is like a great movie; while reading it you will laugh, cry, love and even hate some of the characters. Psalms will fill you with every emotion that humans can experience.
