Too Familiar With Jesus

Do you remember the first time you rode a roller coaster?! Do you remember the time you had your first jelly donut?
Do they WOW you the same way they did the first time?
Do you remember the first car you ever bought? It was amazing, and you cleaned it every week. Now, you never wash it and the inside looks like you live in it.
Our first experience with different things can bring us incredible "wow" and "awe", but the more familiar we get with them; they become an old hat and they become unimportant.
That favorite t-shirt; we now use to paint in. The problem is, we treat Jesus the same way. His amazing grace has become an old hat and heaven is just another figment of our imagination.
